Symbol — sergeykostromin

A selection of work by Moscow based artist Sergey Kostromin. Initially full colour photographs, the imagery in Symbol becomes abstracted through reproduction. Reduced to greyscale and finally printed as halftone reproductions on a Risograph machine, the 17 images in Symbol function as an index of shapes, patterns and textures.
